Are you suffering from some mental problem and want its solution?

Then youre in the right place.

Here Ill tell you what the word MENTAL HEALTH stands for, according to me.

The tips to ameliorate mental health are hidden in this phrase. Like we often say, the word IMPOSSIBLE itself says “I M POSSIBLE”.  The same case is with the phrase MENTAL HEALTH. (what I believe)

We just have to notice it.

These are some effective habits hidden in the MENTAL HEALTH phrase that keeps a person mentally fit and healthy.

MMindfulness

E → Explore new stuff

N → Nature (observe nature)

T → Talk to people (share)

A → Adequate sleep

L   Laugh more 

 

H  Healthy & balanced diet

E  Exercise

A  Accountability (take the responsibility for your health)

L Learn to cope up with the problem

T  Take a break ( Travel )

H  Hydration (drink more water)

 

1. Mindfulness:

Do you know what is mindfulness? If I inform you what mindfulness is in simpler words, it is just  “AWARENESS”.

Awareness of your thoughts, Awareness of your problems, Awareness of your surroundings. If you practice mindfulness you’ll be aware of your activities, your intentions, your thoughts, your problems so, you’ll be able to get over them easily and you'll manage to cope with these problems in no time and will find the perfect solution for the problem.


2. Explore the world:

It is scientifically proven that exploring new things or stuff that intrigue you, exert a positive effect on your mental health.

Walking has proved to reduce anxiety and depression and give an individual a calm, soothing effect.

 

3. Nature:

It is somehow related to the point of exploration discussed above. When you explore the things that influence you, it surely has a positive impact on your personality, behavior & mental health.

 

4. Talk to people:

If you’ve any mental problem or anything that’s bothering you. Share it with someone immediately. Talk to someone close to you, it may be any friend, sibling, or your parents. Just talk and don’t overburden your heart. Sharing is the biggest and effective source of mitigating anxiety and stress. Or if someone wants to share his problems with you, BE A GOOD LISTENER. Because, when he shares, you only listen to his problem but, the other person is feeling those words at that time. Let him express his fears.

5. Adequate sleep:

Sleeping is the most important and productive habit for someone to tranquilize himself. Sleeping is not only a habit, but it is the need of our body. Our body requires some rest and a mild environment after working for the whole day. Many people who have mental issues suffer from insomnia. Insomnia is a major cause of mental disturbances. so, try to have proper sleep. There are hundreds of ways by which an individual can adapt to proper sleeping patterns. I’ll write a new article on it too.

6. Laugh more:

Try to spend most of the time with your friends and family. Laugh more. As laughing is a very potent way to improve your mental health and make you feel peaceful and balmy.

Spend quality time with the people you love. Surround yourself with positive people.

7. Healthy & Balanced Diet:

 A healthy and balanced diet has a greater influence on an individual’s health. Try to eat healthy food. Avoid fried foods. Avoid processed and canned food products ( especially most of the seafood are present in the market in this form). Circumvent drinking soft drinks. Try to take less caffeine. Cut off alcoholic products immediately.

Try to divide your breakfast, lunch, and dinner plates into four parts. And fulfill the requirements of a healthy diet. I’ll write an article on it soon based on a healthy diet.

8. Exercise:

Exercise has a major impact on one’s living. Exercise make an individual physically & mentally strong and fit. Having an early routine of performing exercise will help you start your day with more energy.  The person who has the habit of exercising daily concentrates more effectively on his work. Exercise also influences our body to detoxify the harmful waste products.

As a beginner, you can start exercising by walking daily, then as you feel the improvement you can progressively move forward to jogging and running.

9. Accountability:

Consider yourself accountable for the bad situation of your health. Be responsible for your health. Check on your health every month or every 2-3 months. And if you see any problem,  visit a consultant, immediately.

10. Learn to cope with the problem:

Don’t panic. Learn to use your brain in a productive way of finding the right solution to every problem.

11. Take a break:

In this era, everybody is busy making their careers, building some businesses, etc. Everyone is living a very hectic life.

So it's very important to take a break from the daily bustling cycle of life. You can go on vacations, you can travel to the places you love. It has a very positive impression on an individual’s health.

 


12. Hydration:

Drink plenty of water daily. Fulfill the water requirements of your brain & body daily. Feed your brain. The more water you drink, the more it’ll keep you active and help your brain regulate stress and anxiety.
