REVIEW:
It is the story of a shepherd boy from the Spanish region of Andalusia who dreams of traveling the world in search of a treasure as desirable as any ever found. Early into his journey, he meets an old King named, the king of Salem who tells him to sell his sheep, to travel to Egypt. Early in his arrival to Africa, a man who claims to be able to take Santiago to the Pyramids instead robs him of what money he had made by selling his sheep. Then, he worked for a crystal merchant to make enough money to go to pyramids. In between this journey, he desired to go back to Andalusia when he got robbed & disheartened, but he remained steadfast and consistent in his journey. Along his way to the Egyptian desert, he meets an English man who has come in search of ALCHEMIST and continues his journey with his new companion. He stayed in the tribes for some time, where he met a girl named, FATIMA and fell in love with her. He saw tribal wars and continued his journey to the Pyramids with the ALCHEMIST. The Alchemist gave him a present when he separated his journey. When he reached the Pyramids, he got robbed again and lost what the present is given to him by the ALCHEMIST. But finally, he gets to know where his treasure is.
From his home, he journeyed to the exotic markets of North Africa and then into the Egyptian desert, where a fateful encounter with the alchemist awaited him. He then strove for his treasure and lost all his belongings 3 times in the whole journey. But in the end, he found out where his treasure was.
